Through a simple phone app, clients can monitor their pool temperature, track the water chemistry and review their pool cleaning and maintenance. The app also lets clients view their pool through cameras, and change the water temperature on their pool or hot tub while they commute to the cottage.
“You can go away for a week or more and not worry about it at all. Just come back on the weekend and it’s going to be fine.”
Ongoing care
While the cutting-edge technology makes pool ownership simple, Mario notes that there’s no such thing as a “no-maintenance” pool.
“Somebody’s got to make sure the system is running well,” he adds. This includes testing the systems, measuring the chemicals, topping up the chemical feeders, and disposing of any built-up debris, so your system can keep running smoothly.
That’s why Betz has a weekly service division, with a team of technicians who can service each pool and its equipment weekly from spring through fall. The team is trained to manage water clarity and chemical balance and to ensure their clients’ pools are ready to enjoy throughout the swimming season.
