“Feeling good is the new looking good,” says Meredith Pierce, who co-owns WellHouse Luxury Saunas with her partner, Bliss Baker, and their son, Kevin. “A regular sauna routine is the best investment you can make in your long term health,” she adds.

The couple founded WellHouse after an unsuccessful search for a beautifully designed sauna. They weren’t prepared to settle for an average sauna.
“WellHouse is NOT your quirky uncle’s barrel sauna,” Meredith jokes, noting the impeccable level of design and craftsmanship in their saunas.
Each of their four models – the SugarCube, PepperCube, ShadowCube and IceCube – is clad in high-quality aluminum or shou sugi ban-style wood, with an interior made of handcrafted, hand-sanded, thermally modified wood.
“The wood is beautiful, smooth and won’t crack or splinter with age,” she explains. “It smells great too.”
Unlike most saunas, each Wellhouse is equipped with an unrivalled mechanical ventilation system that circulates the air five times per hour, bringing in the fresh oxygen necessary to leave you feeling invigorated and refreshed, not tired and groggy.
Their four models can also be customized from their menu of finishes, for a look completely tailored to your cottage; they can even do custom colours.
While each sauna is built here in Ontario, the brand has caught the attention of a number of architects and designers who have now become their partners, as far as The Hamptons and Palm Beach.
